In most cases I use two flashes (I ordered the 3th ) at low power (1/32 to 1/128).
f/6.3 - f/8 depending by the scene

I never played with Arduino. In the past I saw some interesting works using this platform, but the projects were too expensive.
I think it's not easy to find a complete (working) and inexpensive project.

1/16 is not enough.

Normally I use 1/64 or 1/128 (and sometimes isn't enough too... sigh )
Anyway, a slight movement in these photos is not too bad, it gives the idea of the explosion.
